1. Terms And Conditions
Welcome to ExpertSe ("Platform", "We", "Our", or "Us"). These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the ExpertSe mobile application and website. By registering as a Student or an Expert, you agree to be legally bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
1. Definitions And Scope
- "Platform" refers to the ExpertSe app/website, owned and operated by the founder and management team.
- "Student" refers to any user registering to seek guidance, information, or mentorship regarding admissions, campus life, or exams.
- "Expert" refers to independent individuals (current students, researchers, or alumni of Central Universities and other institutions) who voluntarily register to provide guidance based on their personal experiences.
- "Services" refers to the facilitation of connection and communication between Students and Experts.
2. Nature Of Service (Disclaimer & Limitation Of Liability)
- Facilitator Only: ExpertSe is strictly an intermediary technology platform under Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India). We do not provide academic degrees, job guarantees, or university admission assurances.
- No Official Affiliation: ExpertSe is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any Central University, Government Institution, or University Grants Commission (UGC).
- Prohibition of Unauthorized Names: Users (both Students and Experts) are strictly prohibited from using, defaming, or making unauthorized representations using the names of specific Professors, Deans, Vice-Chancellors, or official university staff. Any opinion shared by an Expert is their personal opinion and does not represent the official stance of any University.
- Voluntary Participation: Experts onboard themselves with their explicit consent. ExpertSe does not employ these Experts; they act as independent consultants.
3. User Eligibility And Registration
- Users must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Experts must provide verified details regarding their University/College enrollment or alumni status. Providing fake degrees, fake IDs, or misleading information will lead to immediate account termination and potential legal action for impersonation.
4. Code Of Conduct For Students And Experts
- No Off-Platform Transactions: All communication and payments must happen strictly inside the ExpertSe app. Sharing personal phone numbers, emails, or personal UPI IDs to bypass the platform is a violation and will result in a permanent ban.
- Respectful Interaction: Any form of harassment, use of abusive language, discussion of political/religious sensitive topics, or sharing of exam-cheating materials is strictly forbidden.
5. Payment And Transaction Dispute Resolution
- Payment Gateway: All transactions are processed through secure third-party payment gateways.
- 72-Hour Resolution Policy: In case of any technical glitch, failed transaction, double deduction, or dispute regarding an unfulfilled mentorship session, the user must raise a ticket via the app.
- Resolution Timeline: ExpertSe guarantees that all transaction-related problems will be investigated and resolved within 72 hours of receiving the complaint. If, due to third-party banking delays (e.g., NPCI, partner banks), the issue cannot be fully settled within 72 hours, ExpertSe will actively pursue the matter and make every effort to resolve it at the earliest possible time ("jald se jald solve karne ka prayas").
6. Termination And Indemnification
- ExpertSe reserves the right to suspend or terminate any account without prior notice if these terms are violated.
- You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ExpertSe, its founder, and affiliates against any legal claims, losses, or law enforcement inquiries arising out of your misconduct or violation of intellectual property on the app.
7. Jurisdiction And Governing Law
- These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes arising out of the use of this app shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts where the founder/company is registered.
